The food was really good and the lady who works there was really kind . She taught us how to properly eat and enjoy the food . The place is really clean and really calm perfect for when you want to eat with tranquility

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Smallish restaurant with a tight, focused menu specializing in Central Vietnamese cuisine . Banh beo tasty and chewy. Banh Canh tôm cua miền trung were delicious too . I will come back to try bun bo huế and other dishes next time. Friendly, attentative staff, free tofu for dessert . Parking is limited !

Wow, this place was so delicious! Newer restaurant, so my friends and I were excited to give it a try for the first time. We went in during Monday at lunch time, and the place was packed! We ordered the three orders of banh beo and it was so good. The portions were bigger than usual, so it's perfect to share. I loved the generous toppings and fillings of shrimp and crispy pork rinds. The bun bo hue was the star of the show! The broth was so clean and clear, which my friends and I noticed immediately. The noodles were bouncy and cooked perfectly. The broth was extremely flavorful! The meat inside was tender and delicious. After the meal, my friends and I recommended to our families! Can't wait to be back here!

I'm still on the hunt for my favorite Bun Bo Hue spot and thought I'd give Hue Kitchen a try. Parking can get pretty filled on a busy weekend but I found parking easily, and there's also street parking. Upon entering, it was pretty busy, it wasn't noisy inside and the restaurant inside looked very clean. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I ordered #1 - Simple Bun Bo Hue, but there are other variations on the menu. They don't put the Chili sauce in your broth, the sauce is on the table for you to adjust how spicy or not you want it. After adding some of it in, I still felt like the broth was just missing a punch to it. Then realized I think it could use more lemon grass in it. I'd rate this bowl a 3.5/5. I did appreciate the herbs/veggies that came with the noodles. A lot of restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley don't give all the herbs/veggies like how it should be given. There are a lot of other items on their menu that I'd like to try, so I'll definitely be back in the near future. Enjoy!

I was craving bun bo hue. I live in Ktown and there's nowhere super close that has bun bo hue (at least from my Yelp and Google search) so I was feeling a little more adventurous than normal about driving somewhere to get bun bi hue and Hue Kitchen popped up. Right off the bat, when I pulled into the parking lot I was so relieved to see that the parking lot was empty but I'll note that it was also a Sunday evening. Being that I live in Ktown, an empty parking lot is a blessing. When we walked in, there was only one other table with people seated. Once we sat down, someone came to take our order for drinks which was only a Coke and a water. When they brought out the drinks they also brought out a small little cup of their dessert which was a coconut pudding type of thing. It was tasty although I didn't finish it because I was craving my SOUP AND SAVORY STUFFS! So I ordered the banh beo appetizer and #3 soup. I'd never had banh beo but thanks to TikTok, I wanted to try it. It was super tasty and I loved it. My friend ordered the #1 soup. When the bun bo hue came out, there were HUGE pieces of meat that I was very excited to see. I did add chili oil for a little more heat and fish sauce to balance out the sweetness, along with all of the other dressings. I like to have it allllllll MINUS cilantro because yes, I am a cilantro dis-enthusiast. The other thing I'll note is that this bun no hue didn't come with as much of a kick to it as I would've expected which is why I added the chili. And another bummer was that it didn't have as much of a lemon grass flavor in the broth, it was kind of more like a regular pho broth which is probably why I added the fish sauce . It came with the thicker noodles which I don't like as much but overall it was still really tasty AND incredibly filling because of how much meat there was. I finished my whole bowl because in this particular evening, I didn't feel like being a quitter. I'd definitely come back to this place! I wish I took a picture of the two pieces of bone that I absolutely scraped all the meat off of, and there was a lot!

I stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for a Bún Bò Huế place to eat at on Tết. We ordered Bún Bò Huế and Bánh Bèo Bánh Bèo: Actually one of my favorite places to get Bánh Bèo now! Love how they have small shrimp pieces in the bánh bèo. Bún Bò Huế: The meat is the best part of the Bún Bò Huế. The one thing it's lacking is the spiciness in the broth, so if you do want it to be more spicy you would need to add chili into it. Besides that, I did enjoy it! I also loved how they provided a little dessert at the end! The service was great, all the workers were very sweet.
